Two years ago, we embarked on a journey with architect, artist and academic Elena Manferdini to develop a Limited Edition collection of rugs based on her experimental drawings "Building Portraits".

Today, we're pleased to announce that Elena and her design practice has been awarded the 2019 ICON Award! The ICON Award recognizes an iconic woman for her outstanding contributions to not only the design industry but her community and society in general as well. The recipient through their work, character, and creative leadership serves as an inspiration to the rest of the design community.

Founded by Garcia is a Toronto-based boutique agency that represents a curated portfolio of international design brands. Principal Nathaniel Garcia is a furniture industry veteran, having spent two decades growing Toronto’s Kiosk Design into the region’s most successful multi-brand showrooms.

With his cosmopolitan perspective and keen sense for trends, Nathaniel continues to travel the world in search of outstanding design products. In 2015, he branched off to start his own agency where he continues to represent unique, well-crafted design products from around the world.
